I didn’t quite know what to expect when I showed up for training and was relieved to find out that the Brown Brothers are right to the point and full of much more knowledge than they let on.  The class was packed with book lessons and hands on training of what you might come across on a scene.  Anyone can get a book read about this industry and consider themselves knowledgeable but to have experts who’ve been at it for many years teaching techniques, procedures and watching to make sure you know your stuff…that is what it’s all about.  They don’t want anyone walking out of the class not being safe and well informed.  After class was “officially” over they even stayed late to go over anything I missed or needed repeated and wanted to learn more about.  After the weeklong class was over they said call with any questions…and you better believe I do.  A couple months of months later our State paper wanted to due an interview on this industry and asked where I had trained.  Kenneth came on his own to our lovely state for the interview and got his own sidebar for his company.  But…how many companies would actually drive 6 hours on their own time and dime to help you get going…NOT MANY! What else can I say, need training???  Call KRI CSC!  KRI CSC is a well-run machine and these boys know there stuff inside and out. Kenny/Roger, I just wanted to thank you for the SUPERB training that you gave me these last several weeks (August 29th through September 7th 2006).  It was very intense at times.  The actual job that Roger & I went on was probably the best training that I could ever get to prepare me for the real thing … because it was the real thing.  Cleaning up after a murder-suicide was tough .. the smell was bad but this is what I will encounter on the jobs that I will be doing … You know I just can’t say enough … I have taken a lot of training courses throughout the years and you guys were the best instructors that I ever had.  Both of you really believe in what you do and are damn good at it. The extra time that you personally spent with me was just unbelievable … the extra hours that you guys spent with me after the full day’s class was just what I needed.  I got special treatment and a lot of extra tips with regards to crime scene & trauma cleanup, meth lab cleanup, cleaning blood splatters from walls and furniture with exactly how to clean it and what chemicals to clean with … The cost of the course was a bargain … I highly recommend your training … you mixed theory, practical hands on work with actual scenes that I might encounter with a lot of crazy humor (what a combination) … Excellent, I can’t say enough …  besides all of that, you guys play tough but I know that you are a couple of gentle caring soles … and great guys …. I have seen a Lot of companies come and go. The purpose of this blog is to interact and assist each other where we can! Several weeks ago at a scene I needed information about some specific hazards associated with a group of chemicals at a scene. Before Starting AN EVACUATION.  I instructed my tech to call Mr. Brown at KRI for Technical assistance. They assisted us without hesitation on a Friday night after hours. The information was relayed to me and my suspicions confirmed. The area was evacuated and Bomb squad notified.
